the best band ever? I certainly think so just listen the vid above, Famous last words from the new album Welcome to the Black Parade, there is definatley a Queen like sound there. But it didn't start out that way the first album (I brought you bullets,you brought me your love) was heavy hitting punk/emo mix and is one of my all time favorites. But as is often the case they seem to have mellowed as they have become more well known, maybe to aim for the more mainstream market? While this isn't a bad thing they have lost that hard gritty sound of the first album for a more stadium rock sound and some truly great lyrics. I hope there is more to come from MCR, every album so far has had its own sound and they have all been great in their own ways. So go buy them all you won't be dissapointed! |
After the massive success of the first album, (Whatever people say I am, thats what I'm not) lets hope the second album can be just as good from this witty Sheffield based band. They shot to fame both here and in the US on the back of some very good lyrics about the lads life in any average city in the UK and catchy melodies.The new album (Favorite Worst Nightmare) is released 23/04/07 |
